Happy Birthday, Dad and Mum!

Mummy Alice's birthday falls on the 6th of September.
And I thought of doing something special for her this year, instead of buying her stuff.
At the same time I was having trial, so not much time to do shopping. hehehe
That Sunday, I woke up extremely early, 9 a.m (hey I slept at 3) to prepare a sumptuous breakfast for mum! You see, that's the greatness of having a daughter, wakaka. But honestly, that was the first time I cooked, er, no no, frying eggs and cooking NICE maggi mee can be counted or not huh? hahaha anyway, let me show you the MOST WONDERFUL BREAKFAST in the world I could ever find!!!!!! hiak hiak hiak. Don't GASP! You have to believe your eyes xD

1st Dish : Taiwanese Style Fried Vermicelli

First of all, I need bean sprouts which is mum's one and only favourite! Owh, why don't I just fry a plate of bean sprouts? Hmm..

*drums rollllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Tadahh! Shocked? Surprise? Doubtful? Unbelievable? Yes yes yes, this is truly cooked by muih, ME!! Even The Sister don't believe. Grr, but seriously, I cooked it!! just that I steal the recipe from a recipe book. hahaha. It looks nice, and tastes nice too! Mum was like you, surprised! :D

2nd Dish : Fionamelette
It's an omelette actually.

Photobucket
Omg it's so funny. Hahahaha. It looked horrible. *shy* I used chilli sauce to make the writings and it looked awful. Geeez. I shortcut-ed it to bday instead of birthday. Hiak. Anyway, it tasted nice ok, despite the look xD

Dad's birthday's today!! 19th of September. LJ's dad was born on the same day, same month and same year with my dad! How coincident is that? =)

This afternoon when I was out with LJ and WL, Mum phoned me and asked what size of cake should buy for Dad, 1/2 kg or 1 kg cake. And I said, "Ahh, 1/2 kg will do." Because nobody in my family really likes eating cakes, high calories!!

When I reached home, I gasp when Mum showed me the cake :

Me : "..........."
This is a 1/6 kg cake or what?!!! A very big cake indeed.

Poor dad, but nah, he doesn't really care the size of the cake also. Hahaha.

So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DAD and LJ's DAD!! :)

On a separate case :

Today, we AGAIN, led a healthy lifestyle =)

Finally a short break.

Photobucket

fuuuuh~
Finally a break (but not for long) for me!!
Sejarah papers today, my biggest fear
yay, relieved that it's over :)
Hmm, the objective questions still can...but.
and uh, I learnt something :
  • always trust your first instinct
  • never brood too long over a question that you're not sure
  • never change your answer if you're not sure
Because, I got wrong for many questions just because I did not believe in my first instinct!!
Sigh
Why always like that one?Ishhh
I really hope to get an A :'(

And one weird thing is,
I studied till real late yesterday,
and I thought I will be super duper sleepy and drowsy and tired today,
but HEY, NO!!
Hahahaha
That explains why I'm not sleeping now and decided to blog.
Teehee.

I played with my baby cousin whole day yesterday,
and that is why I had to burn midnight oil, hahaha
Baby Jay Wei is so sweet and cute
Speaks delicately :)
Watch his videos !!!

I dunno why when he saw himself in my phone, he laughed so happily
Hahah!
Cuteeeeeeeeeeee

Okayyy lah that's all for today.

{2 more weeks of suffering to go T_____________T}

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR, people!!
Introduction pic. hahahah..
I don't know what's his solemn face for, but i guess he's not happy with his new fur-cut. Lion, blame the vet, not me okayy, hahah..smile lah. c'mon, CHEEESEEE:D

Hey, how's your cny getting on? For me, still pretty fun so far. But after today I think I will start complaining again, my boredom during CNY. Almost all relatives I had met and had received ang pows from them, so no angpows anymore, got lah, from parents' friends, but at a rate of 0.5 angpows day-1. :(

Let me ceritakan a bit bout' my cny :)

First, let's see what I had for reunion dinner during Chinese new year's eve.

Photobucket
A close-up pic of the golden prawns. I don't like prawns but these, their shimmering bodies caught my attention. hahaha

Photobucket
This is cabbages with ang chor(in hokkien) hong zhao (in mandarin)
I like this dish. Vege is good for body! hahaha...

Overall, we had 8 dishes for reunion dinner! 8 symbolizes prosperity..I don't have to say you all also know lah. hehee.
Photobucket
Looks appetizing enough? Ho Chiak! (delicious in hokkien)
All dishes in small amount cuz' we're a small family! hahah..

DESERT TIME!

Photobucket
I drank three bowls of this cuz' i heard my mum said this is good for our complexion!
hee hee.

***
I tell you what, I'm really growing fat. Today, my relatives all came to my house, and we had a small party. We had KFC!! yhuhu~ it was such a longgggggg time since I had Kay-Aff-See. Finger Lickin' Good! Had 2 drumsticks and one breast meat and half packet of large french fries. And one plate of mihun.

Then dinner had chicken rice. (oh gosh, chicken again...)

Then 7.30pm went to watch 'The Wedding Game' at BPMall. After movie, had supper at Pizza Hut. 1/2 plate of spaghetti, one bowl of mushroom soup, pepsi, and 1 piece of pizza. It may be not much for some big-eaters out there, but these are just a bit too much for me.

Then back home, now, I'm typing here. Sitting...lazy-ing my time away. Imagine how much fats have accumulated in my tummy.

OK lah, that's all. It's 1.17am now. I'm tired already. Good night friends.

Happy Father's Day!

First and foremost, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to every father out there! =)

I wonder why Father's Day doesn't have much happenings. Fathers don't get much recognition like mothers do. Aren't fathers as important as mothers??

And a few words for a daddy who gives the best of everything for me :

To a man of few words,
but of great wisdom...
Your actions have always
spoken louder than words...
and have always been an inspiration
for me!
For all the laughter and smiles,
For the happiness & good times,
For listening & caring,
And loving & sharing,
For being my guide,
my strength,
LOVE YOU!

"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection." -- Sigmund Freud

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
